An asset status can be changed in the following ways:

  • Manually in the Suivo platform
  • Manually through the Asset Manager App
  • Automatically when an event is triggered
  • During a transfer or inventory process
  • ...

Note: To change an asset status, you need to have the right permissions. This can be configured via Profile Management.


Manually changing an asset status via the Admin Module

  1. Go to "Admin" -> "Assets" 
  2. Change the asset by moving your mouse over it and selecting the pencil.
  3. Select the tab "Asset Statuses"
    Note: Depending on the options, there could be less tabs visible.
  4. Click "+ Add Asset Status".

 

  • You can optionally set a future date for an automatic status change.
  • Example:
    • A vehicle is scheduled to be sold on a specific date.
    • You can predefine the change by setting the "Out of Service" status for that date.

Applying the New Asset Status

  1. Click "Status" to see a list of all available statuses.
  2. Select the desired status and click "Save".
  3. Click "Send" to apply the changes immediately.
