An asset status can be changed in the following ways:
- Manually in the Suivo platform
- Manually through the Asset Manager App
- Automatically when an event is triggered
- During a transfer or inventory process
- ...
Note: To change an asset status, you need to have the right permissions. This can be configured via Profile Management.
Manually changing an asset status via the Admin Module
- Go to "Admin" -> "Assets"
- Change the asset by moving your mouse over it and selecting the pencil.
- Select the tab "Asset Statuses"
Note: Depending on the options, there could be less tabs visible.
- Click "+ Add Asset Status".
- You can optionally set a future date for an automatic status change.
- Example:
- A vehicle is scheduled to be sold on a specific date.
- You can predefine the change by setting the "Out of Service" status for that date.
Applying the New Asset Status
- Click "Status" to see a list of all available statuses.
- Select the desired status and click "Save".
- Click "Send" to apply the changes immediately.
