The concrete app uses HTTPS to connect to the backend. If the time on the device is not correctly set (or within reason.) There is no HTTPS connection possible because the HTTPS-headers will run into issues.


When a device is locked or you can't set the device time manually/through SOTI, we can set it this way:



To ensure the device auto time syncs with GPS time moving forward, we suggest customer to set up the 'Time Synchronization' settings in Mobicontrol web console.

·         Click on Device

·         Click on Configurations tab.

·         Scroll down to Advance Configurations.

·         Click on ‘Time Synchronization'.

There is no side effect if you use this setting since it enables you to synchronize the time settings on a device with either a SOTI MobiControl deployment server or an SNTP/NTP server, but I would recommend you to configure and test it on one test device first and then repeat this process for a Device Group or push to all devices if there is no issue.
